Syncing OneDrive to your Device

Microsoft OneDrive can easily be synced with your devices. Once you have OneDrive synced, you will be able to access OneDrive from your local device files, or file explorer, without having to access OneDrive from the browser.

  1. You can sync your files and folders between your OneDrive and your local computer or device. To sync your OneDrive to your local device, click the sync tab on the OneDrive Dashboard.
  1. You may see an option appear at the top that says this site is trying to open OneDrive. If you see this, click open.
  2. You will see a confirmation message in the bottom right corner saying that OneDrive is being synced to your device, or that it is already synced if you have already done this.
  3. After this is done and files are synced, you can click close.
  1. To access your file explorer, and your newly synced OneDrive from your device, click on the Windows key.
  2. Next, select file explorer. If this is not pinned, you can use the search bar to find this.
  3. Now, you should see and be able to access all of your OneDrive files and folders from the OneDrive – Catawba County Community College location in your file explorer.
