Sharing Your Screen in Microsoft Teams
In Microsoft Teams, you can show your desktop, a specific app, a whiteboard, or a presentation in a meeting.
- Join or start a Microsoft Teams meeting and click Share content.
- Choose if you want to share your computer audio. Note: if you intend to play a video or any other audio that those attending your meeting should be able to hear, you must enable the Include computer sound option before sharing your screen.

- Select what and how you want to share:
- Presenter mode allows you to choose how meeting participants view the content you share. Choose from Content-only, Standout, Side-by-side, or Reporter modes.
- Screen lets you show everything on your screen.
- Window lets you share an open window like a specific app you have open (do not choose this option if you intend to share multiple application windows).
- Microsoft Whiteboard lets you share a whiteboard where participants can sketch together.
- PowerPoint Live lets you share a PowerPoint presentation (though you can share a PowerPoint presentation by sharing your screen as well).

- After you select what you want to show, a red border surrounds what you’re sharing. Meeting participants won’t see any notifications that might come in.
- Select Stop sharing to stop showing your screen.
