If you are a current student or an alumni you can request your official or unofficial transcript through the CVCC website. If you are a current student your instructions are listed below, alumni instructions will be listed below current student instructions.

Current CVCC Students

To request an unofficial or official transcript navigate to my.cvcc.edu

1. Log on to the Portal using your CVCC log in credentials.
2. Locate the Self-Service Menu then under the students tab click, Self-Service Homepage

3. In this new tab you will need to select the academic tab on the left side of the page. This tab is the icon of the graduation cap.

4. You will then select either the Unofficial Transcript or the Official Transcript Request.

5. If you wish to receive an unofficial transcript click to download the CE and CU combined from SO Transcript.

6. If you need to request an official transcript you will be directed to the National Student Clearing House website where you will then request an official transcript.

CVCC Alumni Students

If you are a student that has not taken classes from CVCC in the past year and cannot access their Portal account you will need to request an official transcript.

1. Navigate to the National Student Clearinghouse website.
2. Enter Catawba Valley Community College.
3. When entering your student identification information, you can use your full social security number instead of needing to know your CVCC student ID number.

If you are a previous student who cannot access their Portal page but would like an unofficial transcript you will need to follow the directions above to request an official transcript but you can have this transcript sent to yourself. Once a transcript is sent to yourself instead of an institution it becomes unofficial.

There is a fee when requesting an official transcript. If you are requesting an official transcript that will be delivered electronically there is a cost of $8.50, this option is the fastest and easiest to track. If you are requesting an official transcript that will be delivered by mail the cost is $7.50.

If you are a current student who is looking to find their cumulative GPA, you will need to follow these directions to navigate to your unofficial transcript. You will then find your cumulative GPA on this document.
