Preparing Your Blackboard Course for the new Navigation Template

The Educational Technology and Online Learning department, in conjunction with the Quality Matters Committee, is launching a new course navigation template in the Spring 2022 semester.

The new course navigation template will be moving from Announcements, Getting Started, Course Content, Assignments, Course Tools to Announcements, Getting Started, Coursework, My Grades, Student Support.

Note: if you currently use just Course Content OR Assignments, but not both, please skip to step #7 in this guide. You only need to rename the button/link if you already only use one.

This is what the transition should look like.

Old navigation: Announcements, Getting Started, Course Content, Assignments, Course Tools to NEW navigation: Announcements, Getting Started, Coursework, My Grades, Student Support
