Insert Images, Large Text, etc. Into Blackboard

In a recent update, Blackboard removed the ability to copy and paste large files and information from the “clipboard”. A detailed article from Blackboard that explains this information can be found here: https://blackboard.secure.force.com/publickbarticleview?id=kAE5Y000000k9tWWAQ.

You can still add “attachments” to your Blackboard Item, Assignments, and Tests by using the “plus” symbol in the visual text editor.

Instructions

  1. Click the “plus” symbol in the visual text editor.
  2. Click “Insert Local Files”.

If you do not see the full toolbar, you may need to click the ellipses to expand the full toolbar.
