These steps apply to tests that have been created or already exist in Blackboard. Exporting a Blackboard test will allow you to share that test with another instructor or import the test into another one of your Blackboard courses.

Special Notes

The CVCC Portal and Blackboard are optimized to be used best with modern web browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge.

Instructions

1. Login to Blackboard and navigate to the course where you need to export the test.
2. In Course Management expand the Course Tools menu and click Tests, Surveys, and Pools.

3. Click Tests
4. Click the grey chevron icon to the right of the test you want to export.
5. Click Export to Local Computer in the menu that displays.

6. Save the file in a location you will remember.

Do not unzip or open the zip file. This file will not allow you to view the test in any way outside of Blackboard and is only for importing to Blackboard.
