Connect to WiFi in CAD Building

As of September 11, 2023 the Cuylar A. Dunbar (CAD) building has a different wireless connection. Follow the directions below to get connected to the wireless in the CAD building. The screenshots provided show the steps on an iPad, though the same method and similar steps will work for any device connecting to this network.

Note that the first two steps below can be avoided if one of the QR codes is scanned that is available throughout the CAD building.

Students, Faculty, and Staff

  1. Navigate to Settings > WiFi and select CVCC in the list of wireless networks.

  1. When prompted for the password, enter GoHawks!

  1. Once connected you’ll be taken to a page that looks like this:

  1. Students, faculty, and staff of CVCC should select the first option to Sign in with CVCC email. Be sure to read and check the box to agree to the Terms of Service before selecting an option.
  2. Having chosen to Sign in with CVCC email you’ll be presented with a Microsoft login page that should look like what you use to log in to other CVCC services like email and Blackboard. Enter your CVCC email address and click Next​, if you need help signing in here, see Login to CVCC’s Online Services like Email, & Blackboard.

  1. When prompted on the next page, enter your CVCC password.
  2. Once you are fully connected, you’ll be directed to the CVCC Online Services page.

Guest Users and Non-Students, Faculty, or Staff

  1. Navigate to Settings > WiFi and select CVCC in the list of wireless networks.

2. When prompted for the password, enter GoHawks! for the password.

3. After entering in the password, select the box that states you accept the terms and conditions and select Sign-In as Guest with Email.

You will be taken to a page that looks like the following: (If you would prefer to sign-in using your phone skip to step 8):

4. If you were not provided an access code, you will enter your name and email address while also selecting the box to accept the terms and conditions. (If you remembered to select in step 3 it will already be checked for you).

5. After this information is entered, select “SEND ACCESS CODE” which will send an access code to the email address you entered.

6. After receiving the code in your email address, type the code into the ACCESS CODE box on your screen and select Sign-In.

7. If you would prefer to sign in using your phone, select Sign-In as a Guest with Text.

8. The following window will open asking you to fill out your Name, Email, and check the box asking you to Accept the Terms of Service

9. Select your mobile carrier from the drop-down menu, and enter your mobile number with digits only; not including your state code, as the following: 1112345678

10. Select Send Access Code. Please give it a second to send to your phone, enter the access code into the access code box, select Sign-In and you will be connected.
