Catawba Valley Community College’s CyberSecurity Center of Excellence has partnered with NordSecurity to provide free access to all students, faculty, and staff, to the NordPass password manager tool for two years (starting in August of 2023).

NordPass is an innovative password management solution designed for a simpler and safer online experience on any device. NordPass generates strong passwords, detects weak passwords, puts biometrics to use, stores everything (including secure notes and credit card information), keeps secrets safe, and frees your memory.

Only CVCC students and employees are eligible to access this exciting tool. Fill out the quick form to receive directions for getting started with your very own free NordPass account!

Complete the form below or visit cvcc.tech/nordpass to get the code for your free NordPass Account. Note that you must sign-in to your CVCC account to request the code.

Setup your NordPass account

1. Once you’ve completed the form in the previous section and received the email with the code in it in your CVCC email account, navigate to my.nordaccount.com/activate.
2. Enter the code in the Activation Code field.
3. Enter the email address you would like to use in the Email field.
4. Click the Continue button.

5. Login and check the email that you entered in the previous step for a code that was sent to that account.

6. Enter the code on the NordAccount page to verify your email.

7. On the Enable seamless auto-renewal page click the Skip this step button. You can always return to this page and choose to pay for the service any time during the two years you have access to it in association with CVCC.

8. Your NordPass account is now setup! It is recommended that you install the NordPass app on your smartphone, the program on any computers that you own, and the extensions on any browsers that you use. Visit nordpass.com/download on each device you want to install it on.
