Users with the Creator role or greaterAvailable to Enterprise plans.

Overview

Creators can add Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) generated captions to their Panopto videos. In this article, learn how to add and edit ASR captioning.  Note: Machine-generated captions are not the same as human transcriptions; as such, reviewing and editing ASR captions for accuracy is recommended. If multi-language ASR captioning is enabled, captions can only be added for the site or folder’s default language.  If you need to reprocess captions, please contact Panopto Support.
