Notice: These steps have only been tested by the EdTech Department with CVCC-issued laptops.

Connecting a Laptop to the Promethean ActivPanel

  1. Connect the HDMI and USB cables from the front of the Promethean ActivPanel into your laptop.
  1. Press the Source button on the front of the ActivPanel.
  1. Touch the HDMI (not HDMI2) icon on the screen.
    • Your laptop screen should appear on the ActivPanel.

Connecting the Logitech MeetUp Camera to a Laptop

  1. In the back of the ActivPanel, unplug the grey USB cord going into the Chromebox.
  2. Plug the grey USB cord into your laptop.
  3. Your computer should now recognize the Logitech MeetUp camera as a video source in your Web Conferencing application.
