Clearing Your Browser’s Cache/Cookies

What is cache/cookies?

When you use a browser like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Apple Safari it will save bits of information (data) about you and what you do while you’re using it. By clearing this information, it can help fix issues you may be having with certain web-based software like the CVCC Portal or Blackboard.

Warning!
Any of these processes may delete your saved passwords. If you do not remember your passwords that are saved in your browser, then your other options are to either use a private browser session or use a different browser.

You can start a private browser session by right-clicking on most applications and selecting the “private window” option.
